Style Edition: Classic Bun with A Bandanna Bow
5:44 PMI can't believe I CAN do a bun! I purchased my bun sponge for my Ohio trip last year but couldn't do a successful bun with it. Well today that has change. I tried again, and I was able to create a nice looking bun on my Sisterlocks. It's not a 100% perfect but it still looks HOT! Happy dance ^_^. Below are the pictures. I added a printed blue bandanna (matched my jeans perfectly) and tie it to form a bow. I also added two cornrows before pulling my hair back for the bun.

That looks awesome! I've never even heard of a bun sponge. That sure would make doing a bun easier. I haven't tried to do a neat little bun yet because I think my hair's too short.
ReplyDeleteThe technical name for it is "Donut" bun ^_^ I just call it my sponge bun lol. It's was a great buy and I will be doing this bun style for many years to come. I just loved how this turned out and I can see this being used in the upcoming summer months.
