I have a total of 823 locks...Yay
1:03 PMI finally had a very close friend count my locks and we total it to be eight hundred and twenty three locks. It took about 30 minute to count them (I really thought it was going to be much longer but it wasn't).I still have hair growing from the front, since my frontal hair line experience major damage with braids etc. I'm so happy to finally know how many locks I have...hooray.

Hello, beautiful hair you've gat there. How long does retightening take you with a whooping 823 locks? Do you do it yourself or go to a consultant?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment!!! It takes my consultant a total of 4-5 hours every month to retighten my hair. Included in that time frame is washing and her breaks. To be honest I don’t think I would have the patience to do my own retightening.
ReplyDeleteWOW!!! I thought I had a ton of locs in my hair with just 521. I know you said a few years ago that you don't retighten your hair. Have you changed your mind?
ReplyDeleteI've been sisterloc'd for just 18 months, have taken the retigthening class, but have yet to do my entire head. I don't have patience either, but I need to develop it so I figure this would be a good way to do so.

@Manjusha Thanks for the comment :D. I'm still going to my consultant to have my hair Retighten. I think it going to take something major to make me learn how to retighten my own hair :(. I'm so lazy to do that amount of locks so I completely understand how you feel doing 521.
